Welcome to Bullet Splat Jewelry
Bullet Splat™ Jewelry is made of Fine (Pure) Silver, which is 99.9% silver.
I take the lead splat from a bullet that's been shot against a target, make a mold of it, get rid of the lead, and then create my Bullet Splat™ Jewelry in pure silver.

Sterling Silver is 92.5% silver and 7.5% alloy, of copper or another metal (sometimes nickel). It is the alloy in sterling silver that creates a black tarnish, and often causes allergic reactions…but the alloy is also what gives sterling silver its strength.
Pure silver, on the other hand, takes a long time to tarnish and rarely causes allergic reactions…but it is softer than sterling. And, when pure silver finally does tarnish, the tarnish is a soft golden color rather than the black tarnish like sterling silver. I use fine silver for my jewelry rather than sterling silver because I like the purity of it, the ease of working with it, as well as its intrinsic value. I love knowing that each piece has "worth" above and beyond whatever artistic value may be in it.
If this crazy world continues on its current path and worst comes to worst, you can buy bread with your Bullet Splat™ Jewelry; its the same as what's in the Silver Bullion Bars: 99.9% Pure Silver, but a lot more fun to wear! So, welcome, and feel free to look around my site. Due to my "A.D.D." you will find an array of items...with more being added as I get intrigued (sidetracked) by new ideas!
Have an idea for your own special piece?
I’m happy to create something special for you. Tell me what you are envisioning, and we will work together to make it happen. Use your imagination, or use mine; the possibilities are endless. Send me an email and we'll get started.
Handmade in the U.S.A.
Each piece of Bullet Spat™ Jewelry is made by me, and no two are exactly alike.
Shipping
Items ship within five to ten working days, are shipped USPS Priority mail with insurance included in the shipping cost. A signature is required on delivery.
Patinas
Pieces with patina applied will vary in color, and none will ever be exactly the same. The patina may be removed using silver polish or a polishing cloth. If, after a time, the patina needs refreshing, you may send it back to me and I will reapply and return to you for the cost of shipping and handling.
Variations in Image Colors
The color variations in the photo images on this site are due to lighting and are entirely my fault. All pieces are pure silver and as such are bright, and shiny unless they have a patina on them, or unless they have 22k gold layering on them.
Other Materials Used
I use hypo-allergenic, surgical steel earring posts and wires. Any jump rings or bales are made of sterling silver. Bullet Splat™ Jewelry is 100% Lead Free!
